Nizampet: Seven teachers were injured when a lift collapsed at a private school in Nizampet on Friday after its suspension cable snapped, causing it to fall from the first floor to the ground. The injured — Shravani, Rajitha, Deepika, Pratyusha, Rajini, Nagashree, and Lakshmi Durga — were rushed to a nearby hospital. Four sustained leg fractures. Police have launched an investigation into possible maintenance negligence.
